The work plan is organized in 5 work packages. Whereby WP1 and WP5 are accompanying the workplan over the whole period, WP2, WP3 and WP4 are performed in sequential order with a certain overlap.
This is due to the independence of certain tasks of sequencing work packages which can start in parallel. Between WP2 and WP3 a feedback loop will be established.

The overall objective is the empirical evaluation of the developed system in the field at two different stages in the development process. This involves assessing the impact of the developed system collecting user feedback and analysing how the system is received and used by study participants in the field. Accordingly, two field trials will be implemented following a mixed methods approach. The practical implementation of the two field trials includes the following aspects:

AAL supports the development of products and services that make a real difference to people’s lives - for those facing some of the challenges of ageing and for those who care for older people if they need help.
The project has an overall budget of 2.029.091,76 €, to which the AAL will contribute with 1.477.535,07 €
